On 12-June-2018, in the premises of SZÁMALK-Szalézi Secondary School, Budapest, the closing conference was held, where participants had the opportunity to share their experiences of the online course on the flipped classroom method.
After the welcome speech of Ildikó Dr. Sediviné Balassa representing the host organization, the coordinator of the Flip-IT! project, Mária hartyányi, Managing Director of iTStudy Hungary opened the events, summarizing the project results to date.
Experiences of the Spanish course were presented by the representatitve of Universidad Europea de Madrid SL, while conclusions of the Czech experiment were reported by the representative of Univerzita Hradec Králové.
iTStudy Kft. gave a report on the feedback collected from almost 300 students and 50 teachers who participated in flipped classes within the framework of the course. Presentations by the mentors of the online course followed, spiced up with a lot of digital learning content.
In the second part of the day workshops were held at two different locations, where selected case studies - resulting from the course - were presented and discussed in an interactive way.
Teachers successfully finishing the course received their certificates (worth 30 credits), and outstanding performance of some of them was acknowledged by a gift book as well.
The closing peresentation was held by Dr. habil. János Győri (Eötvös Loránd University, Faculty of Education and Psychology) titled The 21st century teacher – trends, expectations, dilemmas.
